Thanks to the amazing support of our school community, we’ve made a profit of over £5000 across our three fantastic fundraising events: the Christmas Fair, Alma Park on Wheels and the Summer Fair.
This simply wouldn’t have been possible without our wonderful parents, carers, families, friends and volunteers who gave their time, energy and enthusiasm to make each event such a success. Whether you helped organise, volunteered on the day, donated, or simply came along to join in the fun, thank you – every contribution has made a real difference to our school.

The Alma Park PTA
The Christmas Fair – December
We run the Christmas Fair primarily as a fun event for our school community, rather than as a major fundraiser for the school. Unlike Alma Park on Wheels and the Summer Fair, which are our two main fundraising events, the emphasis is on bringing our school community together. Even so, this year’s event raised over £200, which was a fantastic result.
Alma Park on Wheels – April
A huge thank you to everyone who took part in and supported Alma Park on Wheels back in April. What a fantastic event it was!
We’re especially grateful to our brilliant community partners who helped make the day possible:
Grounded Manchester for the smoothie bike (and delicious cake!)
Streets for People Levenshulme and Station South for running the bike fix-up sessions
Levenshulme Old Library for kindly lending tables
All the parent and carer volunteers and school staff who helped set up, manage queues, run bike blinging, hand out stickers and do countless other jobs throughout the day.
And the biggest congratulations of all go to the children. Their energy, enthusiasm and determination were incredible. Thanks to their efforts (and your generosity), the event raised over £2900!
Summer Fair – June
Our annual Summer Fair was another huge success, raising over £3300.
We couldn’t have achieved this without the tremendous efforts of our volunteers, the generosity of our prize donors and the fantastic support of everyone who came along. We were especially delighted to see so many young people volunteering this year, including many former Alma Park pupils. The fair simply wouldn’t have been possible without such wonderful community spirit.

What a brilliant fundraising achievement again this year, and one that is already making such difference to our fantastic school. Well done everyone!
