Alma Park on Wheels will take place on Saturday 25 April at Cringle Park in Levenshulme. All pupils are invited to take part by cycling, scooting or skating laps of the Park from 10.30am.
Fun at the park
We encourage you to get to the Park well in advance so that your children are ready to get going when the laps start at 10.30am.
Gather from 10am to get ready for the starting line and enjoy:
- free bike tune-ups
- bling your wheels – ribbons and other accessories to add to your wheels
Children will get a sticker for completing their first lap and will be entitled to a free drink and snack for taking part.
Keeping safe
Please note the park will remain open to the public throughout the event. Therefore it is your responsibility to supervise children under your care throughout the event, including while they are riding laps.
Fundraising
We encourage participating children to use this opportunity to ask relatives and friends to sponsor them to take part, to raise money for Alma Park PTA.
Sponsorship forms will be sent home with children, or you can download a copy here.
The money raised will go to support activities and development at the school.
Donations can be given in cash (to a parent/carer) or online here.
If you collect cash donations you can hand them to the school office. When handing in donations, please ensure they are in a sealed envelope, with the name of your child/children, their class names and the amount donated clearly marked on the front. Please hand in any cash donations by Friday 9 May 2025.
