Summer Fair 2025

This year’s Alma Park Summer Fair will take place between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 21 June 2025.

This year, we have taken the decision to make entry to the fair free of charge, meaning that you will no longer have to queue to get in – maximum fair time for all! We will still be selling tokens to spend at the fair at well marked spots inside the school grounds, which means you won’t have to remember to bring cash with you and also will give you a chance to walk around and work out how much you’re likely to spend before you commit to how many tokens you want.

How you can get involved

The summer fair can only happen with your help – it takes a small army of volunteers and lots of donations to make it the lovely event that it is for the children (and adults!), so we rely on your generosity. 

Volunteering

Can you give a small amount of time to make the event a success? Even just half an hour can make a big difference.

Donations

If you can’t give time, can you give something else? We are looking for donations of the following items:

  • Auction and raffle prizes – do you work for or know a local business who might be persuaded to donate an experience, voucher or item to our auction or raffle? What about you? Do you have a special skill that someone could use, like baking a custom cake, or an afternoon of gardening or DIY? Let us know by emailing almaparkpta@gmail.com.
  • Cakes – the cakes on sale at the fair always sell like…hot cakes! Homemade and shop bought are equally welcome, although no nuts please. For cake donations, please bring them to the school office no earlier than Wednesday 18 June.
  • Second hand toys and books – if you have good quality toys and books in good condition please bring these to the school office, no earlier than Monday 16 June.
