Another school year has arrived and the PTA are pleased to say that we have a packed programme of events planned to take us up to next summer – put them in your diaries now and we’ll be sure to be in touch through Parent Mail with details of how you can be involved nearer the time. Christmas at Alma Park
Friday 13 December 2024, after school
We’ll be decking the halls this year with a special after-school Christmas event. Details to follow soon but we can definitely guarantee that Christmas jumpers will be involved.
Eid Celebration
Late March/Early April 2025, during the school day
The school are keen to continue the success of last year’s Eid ul-Fitr event, when families of all faiths and none joined the children in sharing food and customs in the days following Eid. As Eid ul-Fitr is determined by the sighting of the crescent moon the date for this event cannot yet be confirmed but we expect it to take place in the last week of March and will share details as soon as they are available.
Alma Park on Wheels
Saturday 26 April 2025, 10-11.30am, Cringle Park
Those of you with longer memories will recall Alma Park on Wheels, our celebration of all things scooting, cycling and fundraising in Cringle Park – well it’s back! Lots more details to follow but you can expect group rides, bike fix ups and plenty of fun.
Alma Park Summer Fair 2025
Saturday 21 June 2025, 2-4pm
Celebrate the coming summer (and maybe the impending end of the school year!) with our annual fair. Expect all the things you’ve come to know and love – cakes, pizza, raffles, games – and maybe some new surprises…
PTA Meetings 2024-25
We hold PTA meetings every half term after brain builder sharing sessions – dates are listed below. They last no more than half an hour and take place in the school dining hall.
We will also hold “ad-hoc” meetings on for particular events or interest groups so if you’d like to help out on one of the events listed above, or you have a burning issue about school life that you’d like to help tackle with other parents and carers then please get in touch.
